Well here is a post to guide you on how to make your date a success.

Make an effort to be on time

I can’t stress this too much. This is something everyone should know. It’s much better to arrive some minutes early. It shows you are serious about the date also it is wrong to keep your date waiting. Especially if you are meeting each other at the venue.

Can you keep the phone?

You have someone to talk to in front of you, so who are you texting?. Your friends should probably know where you are and wouldn’t be hurt if you don’t text back immediately. Nowadays, everyone seems to always be on their phones even on dates and it is not a polite thing to do.

Dress up

First impressions matter, so wear something fancy. Don’t show up to a dinner date in sweats especially if it’s a first date, even any dinner date. Dress according to the venue. Also, dress up does not mean you should wear outfits that make you uncomfortable. Going to a fancy restaurant and you show up in sweats ?????

Be prepared

Be organized, know where you’re going, what you have planned for the date before the day. Don’t come to the date unorganized. Women like organized men. Also, go with a clear mind. Don’t go on a date with an attitude and prepare your mind that you are going to engage each other in conversations.

No Extras

Don’t come along with a friend except he tells you too. Don’t expect him to be cool with it when you show up with all your friends and also do not expect him to pay their bill. He asked you out not your friends honey.

Food Ordering

It’s best to order something you can eat on a first date. I think it is wrong to waste food someone bought for you or waste food at all. I’m not saying you should go to the date starving, just create some space in your stomach for little food. I usually just order fries with chicken or fish something light so I can finish it. And also order a meal that isn’t messy.

Pay for your Uber.

If he isn’t driving and you are to meet at the venue, I think it’s nice to pay for your own cab. The guy is already paying for the date, the least you could do is pay for your own cab except he offers too.

Don’t cancel a day before

You are supposed to fix the date on a day you’re less busy and is sure of nothing coming up, except it’s an emergency. It is not cool canceling on someone a day before. Your date might have picked out an outfit the day you asked her out and would be anxious for it. Just for you to cancel at the last minute. And also postponing the date several times 🙄🙄???? Please let’s just stay in our respective homes.

Carry “vex” money

I mean we have seen what’s been happening these days to people on the internet. It’s best to go with your money to avoid any embarrassment love.
